At the Mukono Jewish Community, we believe that Jewish learning is not a luxury reserved for scholars or a seasonal activity limited to holidays. It is the daily bread of Jewish life — the oxygen that sustains our souls, the foundation upon which our community has been built, and the bridge that connects us to Jews across time and around the world. From our earliest days as a handful of seekers in 2019, through our conversion journey, to our current life as a thriving community with our own Sefer Torah, study has been at the heart of everything we are. Every milestone we have achieved was preceded by learning. Every question we have faced was answered through text. Every member of our community, from our youngest children to our most seasoned elders, is also a student.
